Home Equity Loans

We've been living in our house for ten years now and due to the expected wear and tear, the kitchen area needs some refurbishment. I thought it'd be a good time now for this work to be done as our home mortgage is almost paid up. We looked around for the best deal for a loan and found that home equity loans would suit our need. We finally took up a home equity loan and found that the amount not only was enough to cover the renovation, we even had some extra cash to get a new sofa set.
