Exactly one month from today on February 18, Chinese around the world will be celebrating the Lunar New Year or
Chinese New Year (CNY) as it is more commonly known here in Malaysia. This marks the beginning of a new lunar year. It is a time for family reunions, the
lion dance, firecrackers, mahjong, mandarin oranges and giving/collecting ang pow (money given in red packets) and new clothes.
