FAX gets rights to non-MAS long haul routes

Travellers from Malaysia now have another option on international routes to destinations not flown by MAS as FAX (Fly Asian Xpress) has been given air traffic rights to operate long haul services on international routes to destinations in Asia, Australia and Europe not flown by Malaysia Airlines.

FAX, which is privately owned by AirAsia CEO Datuk Tony Fernandes, deputy CEO Datuk Kamaruddin Meranun and former AirAsia chief financial officer Raja Azmi Raja Razali, currently operates rural air services in Sabah and Sarawak.
