If you are a book-lover, you've got to visit the Book Fest at the KL Convention Centre. It's on now until August 31.
There are 509 booths showcasing products from 275 publishing houses, book and stationery distributors from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States, Britain, Singapore and Malaysia.
In view of the H1N1 flu, visitors are required to have their temperature checked at the entrance before entering the event hall, which is a good move, of course, making sure that the environment is H1N1-free.
There are many activities in store such as autograph sessions, cookout demonstrations and various contests. Authors, novelists, cartoonists, artistes, chefs and other personalities are slated to make special appearances as well.
Entrance fee is a mere RM2.
