Check out latest update: Book Fair on board MV Logos Hope at Port Klang (Sep 22, 2011)

If you are in Kota Kinabalu or visiting from Aug 29, you may want to visit this floating library, mv Doulos, which will be docking at the Sabah state capital for three weeks from Aug 29.

There are about 6,000 titles on board covering books on cookery, health, education, marriage, family, gardening and music, as well as children’s books, novels and encyclopaedia.

While the ship is docked in Kota Kinabalu, a painting competition sponsored by Murobond Paints will be held on Aug 31 for Malaysians aged 13 years and above.

The contest is divided into three categories from 13-15 years, 16-18 years and above 19 years.

The closing date for entries is Aug 22.

The ship will be open to the public from 10am to 10pm (Tuesday-Saturday) and 2pm to 10pm (Sunday and Monday) with the exception of Aug 29 when it will open from 6pm to 10pm. On Aug 31, it will open from 10am to 10pm.

Entry forms and details of the painting competition are available at the Murobond Paints showroom, Lot 2, First Floor, Block B, Kolombong Industrial Develop-ment Complex, or by calling 088-436 339.
