If you like Art, here is a chance to catch two art exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur. One is of Ecuadorian art, the other Batik art by a German batik artist.
Besides the Galapagos Islands, little much is known of Ecuador and her heritage in terms of arts and culture. Here is a chance for Malaysians and visitors alike to know more about Ecuador's rich heritage of arts and culture.
In an effort to promote this rich heritage, Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya has joined hands with the Embassy of Ecuador and City Art Gallery to organise an Ecuadorian Art exhibition.
The recent launch saw the ambassador Lourdes Puma Puma launching the event at the hotel’s Ee Chinese Restaurant.
The Ecuadorian Art exhibition is held at Ee Chinese Cuisine Restaurant Eastin Hotel, Petaling Jaya until April. On display are also Ecuadorian handicrafts and musical instruments made from bamboo and cedar wood such as the quena, quenacho, pan flute and cedar flute.
Ecuadorian food is also available a la carte, priced from RM35++ onwards.
