Shop online for Cheerleading uniforms and cheer shoes

Cheerleading, started in the '40s, is now a competitive sport in itself. Originated in the United States, cheerleading has spread to countries far and wide including Australia, Canada, China, Colombia, Finland, France, Germany, Japan,[1] the Netherlands, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and even to Malaysia.

Cheerleading is a physical activity, based on organized routines, usually ranging from one to three minutes, and which contain the components of tumbling, dance, jumps, cheers, and stunting. All this to direct spectators at the event to cheer on sports teams at games or to participate in competitions.

For ease of movement and uniformity and to project an atmosphere of camaraderie, cheerleading uniforms are worn by every member of the team. Did you know that organized cheerleading started out as an all-male activity? Today, estimates show that 97% of cheerleading participants overall in the U.S. are female. However, at the collegiate level, cheerleading is a co-ed sport with 50% of participants being male.

Secondary schools here in bigger cities have their own cheerleading squad which participate in interschool cheerleading competitions annually. From there, the winning squads advance to state and then country level with the winning teams representing the country in the regional Asean competition.

It is encouraging to note that cheerleading uniforms including cheerleading shoes worn by our cheerleaders here are on par with those worn by cheerleaders in the United States, for instance. Availability of cheerleading uniforms, cheer shoes, etc., online has made it so much easier to acquire the colors, styles and designs needed to match the school colors and preference.
