David Cameron, the British Prime Minister, was in Kuala Lumpur for a two-day official visit.
The British Premier's visit to Malaysia was at the invitation the Malaysian Prime Minister and was his first official visit to Malaysia since becoming prime minister in May 2010.
Cameron was scheduled to deliver a speech at the Malaysia-Britain Trade and Investment Forum, hold a bilateral meeting with his Malaysian counterpart to discuss cooperation in various fields for mutual benefits, besides attending a Global Movement of Moderates (GMM) programme at the University of Nottingham, Malaysian Campus in Semenyih.
British Prime Minister David Cameron was accorded an official welcome at Perdana Square, Bangunan Perdana Putra, in Putrajaya. Cameron was greeted upon arrival there by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
