More 1Malaysia Clinics available across the nation

Malaysians enjoy fast and efficient medical service for just RM1 (One Ringgit). This is made possible with the setting up of 1Malaysia Clinic across the nation.

The Government has opened 75 such clinics nationwide which offer treatment for fever, cold and other minor ailments as well as follow-up treatment for chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

These 1Malaysia Clinics relieve the long queue-time seen normally at the regular general hospitals or policlinics.

Malaysians are fortunate that medical service is free (except for that RM1 for registration), being provided by the government at public hospitals and clinics. The people are not burdened with having to pay for health insurance to use medical service provided by public medical institutions.
