Kajang flooded again

Flash floods hit Kajang town after an afternoon downpour yesterday. The flood waters reached up to a height of about four feet in some areas.

Besides Kajang, flash floods also hit Ampang and Cheras in the Klang Valley Wednesday afternoon leaving trees uprooted in the process. Flood waters started to rise after the heavy downpour at 1pm. Waters began to subside at about 4pm when rain reduced to a drizzle.

Last December, flash floods caused by heavy rain had affected Kajang, resulting in shopkeepers experiencing heavy losses and damaging several cars and motorcycles.
