A Better Air Quality

The Star reported that the Health Ministry is looking into the possibility of expanding the non-smoking zones to more public places with the Tobacco Products Control Act. Areas targetted may be hawker centres, in factory buses, at fitness centres and at national service camps.

The Ministry is in the last stage of drafting the Act and the hope it is to present it to the Cabinet next year before tabling it in Parliament. So let's look forward to better air quality in the not too distant future.
