Floods in the East Coast of Malaysia

The months of November and December are not the best months to visit the east coast of Malaysia. This is due to the monsoon season where there is heavy rainfall resulting in floods, road closures and evacuations.

An anticipated violent movement of Siberian winds across the South China Sea any time between mid-November and early December will trigger off another wave of thunderstorms leading to massive floods in the east-coast states.
