Food in Malaysia is safe to consume

If you are a visitor to our lovely country and wondering as to the safety of food found here, our Health Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek, told reporters recently that the quality of imported food is safe because of constant monitoring at 36 entry points with the cooperation of the Customs Department and other agencies. This was as reported by The Star. Food found to have contravened our food regulations have been rejected, returned or destroyed by the authorities.
