Malaysia Urgent Need to Recycle Waste

With 25,600 tonnes of waste being produced daily, Malaysians will have no choice but to urgently put in more effort to recycle our waste. With waste production projected to grow by 3.6% each year, he said landfills would be at full capacity by 2020.

Our Prime Minister, at the National Recycling Day, spoke about the idea of “first-class infrastructure, third-class mentality”, and how this was illustrated in the way Malaysians treated the environment. More...The Star
