Malaysians will be happy to note that the government based on feedback from the people has decided to come up with a cheaper Alternative International Malaysian Passport. This is from Oct 1.
The new passport costs RM100 for a two-year validity versus the normal 5-year passport that costs RM300 for a 32-page document and RM600 for a 64-page passport.
This new alternative passport would be much welcomed by Malaysians who only need make a trip overseas once in a while such as those going for the haj to Mecca or accompanying their children studying overseas.
