Passports in a jiffy in Sabah

Sabahans would be happy to know that getting an international passport in Sabah will soon be a breeze. Come next year, Sabahans can apply for or renew their travelling documents in just two hours once the digital printing machines to generate the high-tech passport are installed.

This is a far cry from years ago when it took three months to approve and then reduced to three weeks in the 1980s and then down to 24 hours in 2005 and now to just three hours.
