When PAS was administering Trengganu, licenses for entertainment places were revoked and those who wanted entertainment had to drive out of the state to Kuantan or take a boat-ride out to Pulau Redang.
Terengganu nights are coming alive again as local authorities are beginning to isseu licences again effective immediately. Barisan won the election last September. Karaoke lounges, snooker parlours, discotheques and water holes will soon be a part of Trengganu's business and entertainment landscape. We will expect to see cinemas and cineplexes as well. More..
