The Amazing Ten Animal Kingdom

While in Kuala Lumpur, there is another zoo to visit besides the National Zoo in Ulu Kelang. This other zoo, the Amazing Ten Animal Kingdom houses some pretty neat creatures that you probably won’t find in other zoos in the country.

Take this animal, for instance. It is a sloth and this zoo is the only one in the whole of Malaysia that has this animal.



The Amazing Ten Animal Kingdom is located in Gohtong Jaya which is on the way to Genting Highland. From Kuala Lumpur, the journey via the Karak Highway takes about an hour.

The Amazing Ten Animal Kingdom is open daily from 8.30am to 8pm. It is situated at Level 3 of Genting Skyway Complex.

Tickets are priced at RM18 for adult and RM10 for child below the age of 12. Foreigners will have to pay RM25 and RM15 respectively. The zoo management offers free entrance to children from orphanages, old folks homes and non-profit organisations. However, they must write in or contact the management prior to the visit.
