ALOR GAJAH: The Malacca government will gazette the Tun Fatimah Stadium in Bandar Melaka and the Hang Jebat Stadium in Kerubong as the venues to hold demonstrations or protest.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said the matter, in accordance with the Peaceful Assembly Act 2011 recently passed by Parliament, was decided by the state executive council on Thursday.
"Anyone is allowed to hold any protest at these two places, but do it in a civilised and decent way," he told reporters here.
